Resident Evil 3 Remastered Review
The latest edition of Resident evil 3 is out. In this part you play with Jill Valentine and Carlos. The story is set again in Raccoon City and remastered just after the events of Leon Kennedy in Resident evil 2. You mainly play with Jill, but certain chapters are also for Carlos.
The levels The levels are almost the same as in RE2, especially the part in the police station. The narrow corridors and roofs provide exciting shooting moments with zombies and with Nemesis. We come straight to the peak of the game, because all encounters with Nemesis provide the necessary sweaty hands. He chases you and unlike Mister X of RE2, Nemesis can also overtake you if you sprint past him, so you sometimes unfortunately have to go back a bit.
The weapons All known weapons such as the lighting hawk, rockets launcher and the assualt rifle are present again. The rocket laucher plays the most fun as you can kill almost anyone with one shot. It takes a while to unlock them, you need to grind but it is still fun to do.
__ The duration of the game__ Now we come to the biggest hate point of RE3, the game is only about 5-6 hours long. This is too short for a RE2 game where you pay 60 euros. It would have been better to release this game as DLC. As a counter argument for the short duration of the game, it can be said that you have to play the game several times to unlock all perks and weapons. So there is a high replay value
Verdict Ambience is good, weapons are good, zombies are delicious, nemesis is there. Regardless of the game's brevity, I really enjoyed the game. Resident evil atmosphere is always great, where you always walk around a corner with sweat in your buttocks because there can be nemesis. Hence, this game gets an 8. If the game had been a little longer, the number would have been a 9. In any case, we advise everyone to purchase this game
