One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 Review Luffy and his pirate crew are back in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4. Anyone unfamiliar with the warriors game, a quick explanation. They are action games where you have to defeat hundreds of enemies in battle, once they are all defeated you upgrade your character and advance to the next level. The nice thing about these types of games is that you can set your mind to zero and enjoy button smashing. It's just fun to stay in the languages of SIMPS.
Campaign Mode In story mode you play the story of the anime from One Piece. You start with Luffy and his friends on his boat, and travel the 4 other pirate islands. Nothing new if you follow One Piece. The story is nicely started and the story is clarified with long and especially beautiful cutscenes. My favorite cut scene and that of the editors is the one between Kaido and Luffy. Wonderful to see how the events of the anime are reenacted.
The gameplay The gameplay is fun and just like you are used to from previous Warriors games. You can make combos by stringing different special moves together, but you can also go through the levels by simply continuing to smash 'X' if you want. That makes it less fun, but for the simps among us it is also possible.
The Verdict If you like zeroing your wits and grinding then One Piece Pirate Warriors is ideal for you. It has enough levels, enough upgrades to unlock and you can also play it co-op. Minuses are the occasional control, especially the lock, sometimes does not work properly. But seen everywhere great game, and therefore it gets an 8.5.
