Nascar Heat 5 Career mode Nascar heat 5 has a career mode, just like its predecessors. Here you start as a rookie and you have to race all the way to the top from the amateur circuit. You start as an amateur in a team with a low budget and a not too fast car. But as you win more races and qualify better you will be noticed by a better team and a trade can take place. The career mode is very thin and doesn't really matter because it's ultimately about racing.

The gameplay Racing, of course, this is what it's all about. The weird thing about Nascar is that you drive in a circle again and again. No tricky turns, no chicane, no fast left and right movements, just drive in a circle every time. This sounds like absurdly simple right? However, it is damn difficult because before every corner you have to know if you are on a high or low racing line as this affects how fast you can get out of the corner and whether you can reach your top speed. Because that's what the game is all about, getting the top speed of your car and keeping it as long as possible. And this sounds easy, but it really isn't. You really need to have a steady hand to do this.

Online gameplay One of the most important things in a racing game is online. If it has no online capability, the life of a game game is not long. People are getting tired of it because nowadays you no longer come together to play games together, but you share each other's psn number and play nice online. The online part is good, you can find races quickly and there is hardly any lag.

The conclusion Nascar heat is a fun game, entertaining, but it is really made for harcore nascar fans. If you do not belong to this group, other racing games are highly recommended such as Grid, Gran Turismo and Dirt 5. Nevertheless, Nascar heat 5 is an entertaining game and we give it a 7
