Fast and Furious Cross roads Review

August 4th, 2020

This time the fast and furious franchise does not splash off your cinema screen, but hopefully your 4k TV. Dom, letty and the rest of the group are back to save the world from another major catastrophe this time.

The story The story takes place after the death of Bryan (Paul Walker). The group is still together apart from Bryan then. They still work in their garages on their pimped up cars and the Rock is still a special agent of the government. He informs the group of a new danger and asks for help from Dom and Letty. You compete with someone who owns a large missile that can blow a large part of America away. It is up to Dom and Letty to prevent this. Fast 2

The gameplay It's all about racing in F&F, of course. You can race in Dom's famous dodge, in Roman's fast-paced Japanese cars. All known cars from the movie can be found in the game. We have mixed feelings about racing itself, because it feels very brutal when you can use your nitro on a straight piece and overtake all your opponents. However, as soon as there is even 1 corner it becomes very difficult. Because the controls are not well made of this game. Far too often you either have to slow down completely or hit the guardrail when you want to take a turn. This is especially annoying if you are driving Dom's car. This has a very high top speed, but it is not user-friendly at all. This is painful because the racing should be just right in this game. Fast 3

The conclusion F&F could have been promising and become a big hit for many fans of the F&F series. However, the poor controls of the racing make this completely impossible. The racing is not fun, you never have the feeling that you master the car. And this is just painful. That is why it only gets a 5 from us.
