Fairy Tail Review

July 29th, 2020

The story Natsu and the fairy tail gang are back. If you are familiar with the anime then you know what will happen in the story. The game follows the story of the anime but there are some time skips so it is not always easy for newcomers to understand. For all newcomers, Fairy Tail is all about clans who are all trying to rank up to become the best clan. For example, the main character, Natsu, with his clan the fairy tail, is trying to become number 1. However, as in any story, you start at the very bottom and work your way up. Along the way you will also learn more about Natsu and why he is so important in the whole story.

The gameplay Fairy tail is a tactical turned based game. Which means you can take turns attacking. You don't work here with melee attacks but with magic, magic that you learned from the dragons. The fights vary enormously from easy to very tough. It really depends on how you play the game. If you play every side quest, take your time to check every corner, you will rise much faster in your levels. But if you prefer to go through story mode faster and only do main missions, you will eventually get into trouble with the bosses as they are extremely overpowered. In the end you will not escape to do the side missions. Because you fight in 4 against 1 situations. And you have to make your team as balanced as possible. Usually Natsu as the attacker, and Lucy as the medic. Because a medic is really necessary because the attacks of your opponents are so strong that you are already dead after 1 hit. And only a medic can revive you. However, the nice thing about this game is once you get to attack with natsu, it's really good. Natsu has a dragon form and if you use it you do monster damage. And it feels very good. fairy tail 1 The conclusion Fairy tail is a really fun game especially for anime lovers. All magic attacks are very well processed and the atmosphere and the world are very well recreated. The game is also playable at 60fps, which is nice for the purists to know. Furthermore, the game offers more than 100 hours of fun so you certainly get value for your money. However, a big setback may be the story. There are so many jumps in time that it will not be possible for newcomers to understand the story. This is a shame because the story is actually exactly what makes the game so good. That is why the game gets an 8 from us. Would the story have been explained better had this certainly been a 9.
